Our summer chicken recipes are light, tasty and ideal enjoyed outdoors on a hot summer’s day. We’ve got plenty of recipes including salads, like our classic Caesar salad recipe, chicken skewer recipes, chicken wings, chicken burger recipes and plenty more.
In the summer, when the weather is good and the sun is shining we tend to opt for lighter recipes that won't weigh us down so much. Chicken is ideal as it’s not too heavy and it goes really well with the refreshing flavours of the season. We pair chicken with all sorts of interesting flavour combinations, like mango in our chicken and mango salad, or with pineapple salsa in our jerk chicken recipe.
Thai chicken salad with peanuts and ginger(pictured) is one of our favourite summer chicken recipes as it’s both light, tasty and has a bit of a kick to it. If you don’t like spicy food, then cut down on the chilli, but on the flip-side if you’re a fan of hot food then add a little more to suit your taste. The lime that you squeeze into it cools things and adds a nice balance to the heat of the chilli.
