Geomancer Champion Guide | Raid Shadow Legends (2024)

Geomancer is one of the Dwarven factions most popular champions in Raid Shadow Legends. An impressive attack style champion that will offer a variety of attacks including weaken, decreased accuracy, HP Burn and more. Arguably one of the most impressive things about Geomancer is his ability to steal turn meter from important bosses such as the Fire Knight or Spider. Additionally, Geomancer can prove highly useful in boss fights such as Iron Twins, Spider, Nether Spider, Hydra and Bommal. As he holds a passive ability that boosts damage numbers as if you has a Giant Slayer Mastery.

Geomancer Late Game Clan Boss Build Guide

Geomancer is an Epic Force affinity champion from the Dwarf Faction that has been recently added to the game and is making waves in the Clan Boss meta. Geomancer has a unique mechanic in his kit that allows him to be one of the highest CB damage dealers in the game. This is all due to his passive which reflects damage back to the attacker when his HP burn is up on the attacker and each reflect has a chance to proc extra Max HP damage on the enemy.

Booking Geomancer’s A2 and A3 are necessary to lower their skill cooldowns to 3 turns and increase the debuff chance to 100%. His A1 is irrelevant and if you’re lucky to max out his A2 and A3 first you can save your books and skip maxing his A1.

This guide will showcase Geomancer in three different Clan Boss builds: (1) a Slowtuned long lasting team, (2) Budget Unkillable, and (3) Easy Double Maneater composition.

Slowtuned Long Lasting Team Guide

Masteries

The first team in this guide will be the Slowtuned long lasting CB team. In this team, we will select the Offense and Defense Masteries on Geomancer.

We will take the standard CB Masteries in the Offense and Defense tree. His passive can no longer proc Giant Slayer so since he only does single hits, we will take Warmaster for T6 now. For the rest of the Offense tree, take Crit Rate, Crit Damage, all the CB damage increasing masteries on the left and into the T6 Warmaster mastery. In the Defense Tree, take the Damage mitigation mastery in Tough Skin, Blastproof, Rejuvenation, and Delayed Death into the T5 counterattack mastery in Retribution.

Gear & Stats Build

Gearing Geomancer will depend on which style of CB team you use him in. This first build will be for the slowtuned long lasting CB team. In this type of team, he will have to be built defensively with high Defense and HP. In a team will Ally Protection and/or Increase Defense for the entire fight, it is recommended to have around 2.8k Defense. However, without Increase Defense buffs, 4.5k Defense is advised instead. After that the focus is to built up his HP as high as possible, with 45k+ HP recommended. Build at least 225+ Accuracy for UNM to land his HP Burn debuff which is very important to his kit and enough speed to match your team’s speed tune.

Forget about his Atk, Crit rate/damage as the raw damage he deals is negligible. All his damage will come from his Reflect and Giant Slayer procs.

After testing, it has been found that Lifesteal is the best set to have on Geomancer. This is because he can lifesteal off his reflect damage and Giant Slayer procs. As long as he is not one-shott by the CB, he is able to heal back to full through the reflect damage which makes him unkillable even in rounds 120+.

  • Boots: HP/Def %
  • Ring: HP/Def
  • Amulet: HP/Def
  • Banner: Accuracy/HP/Def

Team Composition & Strategy

This is an example of a 1:1 slowtuned CB team with Geomancer and their speed:

  • 181 Geomancer
  • 179 Riho Bonespear
  • 176 Toragi the Frog
  • 172 Tyrant Ixlimor
  • 171 Underpriest Brogni

This is a 1:1 style team that is built to survive long into the CB fight. This team combination has the following synergies between each champion to survive long into the CB fight:

  1. Double Ally Protection from Tyrant Ixlimor and Toragi the Frog.
  2. Shields from Toragi and Brogni for an added layer for protection.
  3. Brogni Enhances the shields from Toragi.
  4. Riho Bonespear and Brogni provide healing to the team as well and Block Debuffs to block the CB affinity debuffs and stuns.
  5. Riho applies Decrease Def and Decrease Attack and Toragi as a back up Decrease Attack and some poisons.

Shields are a very important aspect in Brogni based teams as Brogni reflect damage done to the Shield and Toragi offers a shield for Brogni to enhance. Geomancer benefits from teams that lasts a very long time as it allows him to rack up tons of damage every time the CB takes a turn. This team is capable of surviving past turn 120 while doing 120+m damage on Spirit affinity. It works on other affinities as well but will not survive as long and do as much damage but is still capable of 1 keying on Magic, and at least 2 keying on Force. This team also works on NM difficulty.

Budget Unkillable Team Guide

The second team covered in this guide will be the Budget Unkillable CB team. In this team, we will select the same Offense CB Masteries as the previous clan boss guide with the T6 Giant Slayer, but we have to avoid the Life drinker mastery.

Masteries

Geomancer will be the Stun Target so he shouldn’t have any form of healing. We then select the Support Tree masteries. Take the basic Accuracy masteries, avoiding any TM Boost. If you want to save your energy, you can stop at the T4 support masteries. As none of the T4 and T5 support masteries will really have an impact on Geomancer in this team and can actually make his build worse as Lore Of Steel will increase your Def if you use any Def boosting sets.

Geomancer Champion Guide | Raid Shadow Legends (9)

Gear & Stats Build

Gearing Geomancer will depend on the style of CB team you use him in. In an unkillable team, Savage and Cruel set combo is highly recommended. The ignore Def from these sets will increase the damage of his Giant Slayer Procs and since he is able to proc so many of them, the ignore Def from these sets which are normally not impactful enough for other champions are amazing on him. If you don’t have these sets, any other set will do just fine.

In a budget unkillable team, the most important stats to consider are his HP, Def, and Speed. We will be building Geomancer as the slowboy/stun target, so we will first need to have a very low speed of 111-118. We then need to build his HP to be the highest in the team, and his Defense to be as low as possible to ensure that he will be the stun target.

Once you satisfy the 3 stat requirements above, build at least 225 accuracy on him to land his important HP Burn debuff. Then you can build his Crit Rate, Crit Damage and Attack. A very important tip to building a Stun Target champion. You don’t have to max out your artifacts. You may find that a +12-16 artifact may give you too much Defense or too high a Speed stat. Keep them unrolled and they will be easier to build as shown in the screenshot of this Geomancer’s build (notice the unrolled Boots and other artifacts).

You can use any combination of stats to meet your build requirement.

  • Gloves: HP/ATK/Crit Rate/Crit Damage %
  • Chest: HP/ATK %
  • Boots: HP/ATK %
  • Ring: Attack/ HP
  • Amulet: Crit Damage/HP
  • Banner: Accuracy/Attack/ HP

You can acquire perception gear in the forge and get speed sets from Dragon or Campaign. She is not difficult to gear and provides good value in lots of content.

Team Composition & Strategy

This is an example of a Budget Unkillable team that features Geomancer as the Slowboy/Stun target and Fayne and Vizier and the other 2 DPS champions. The speed settings used for this team are:

  • 116 Geomancer
  • 178 Vizier
  • 176 Fayne
  • 240 Maneater
  • 220 Pain keeper

This team deals the majority of the damage from Fayne applying poisons that Vizier extends and the Reflect/GS Procs from Geomancer. Fayne also brings Decrease Def for additional damage. Vizier is geared in the Retaliation set for a high chance to counterattack and extend debuffs. Fayne can be upgraded with another new Epic Champion who also applies Poison and Decrease Def, Venomage. Venomage also has the added benefit of consuming the poison that Vizier extends. The other 2 DPS slots can be replaces by any other champion who does damage but should at least include a Decrease Def champion as Geomancer already applies Weaken.

The flaw of this team is that it does not work on Magic affinity because Geomancer is positive affinity, and the CB will not choose him as the stun target. You will need to swap to Spirit affinity stun target for the team to work. You also need to increase the Slowboy’s speed to 121 in order for it to work on NM.

Easy Double Maneater composition Guide

The third Clan Boss team covered in this guide will be the Easy Double Maneater Unkillable CB team. In this team, we can use the exact same masteries as the first guide where the Offense and Defense Tree are selected with T6 Giant Slayer.

Masteries

We will want the Lifedrinker mastery in this build as lifesteal will not impact the team negatively. It will instead give Geomancer enough healing for a chance to Counterattack from the T5 Retribution Mastery as we will be going for the Defense Tree in this build. As always with Unkillable teams no Turn Meter boosting masteries can be picked

Geomancer Champion Guide | Raid Shadow Legends (12)

Team Composition & Strategy

This is an example of the Easy Double Maneater team that features Geomancer, Fayne and Vizier as the 3 DPS champions. The speed settings used for this team are:

  • 163 Geomancer
  • 176 Fayne
  • 178 Vizier
  • 216 Maneater
  • 214 Maneater

This team does the majority of the damage from Fayne applying poisons that Vizier extends and the Reflect/GS Procs from Geomancer. Fayne also brings Decrease Def for added damage. Vizier is geared in the Retaliation for a high chance to counterattack and extend debuffs. Fayne can be upgraded with another new Epic Champion who also applies Poison and Decrease Def, Venomage. Venomage also has the added benefit of consuming the poison that Vizier extends. The other 2 DPS slots can be replaces by any other champion who does damage but should at least include a Decrease Def as Geomancer already applies Weaken.

Unlike the Budget Unkillable team, this team works on all affinities, and on UNM/NM without changing speeds. However, it does have quite a long manual set up time of 6 turns.
