Is 3 having network problems? ›

We hope to have things fixed as soon as possible and will add any updates here. Our systems haven't reported any network problems.

The Mobile Signal Finder is a free app, providing users with the ability to track and find the best cell coverage in their area. Users support the collective community by contributing to our crowd-sourced database with information about network performance and speed testing data.

Three's 4G network covers 99.8% of the UK. Furthermore, its 5G network is billed as the fastest in the UK. Coverage is pretty good, too. All its SIMs come with 5G as standard, meaning you'll be able to make use of these lightning fast speeds (provided you have a 5G-compatible device, of course).

A typical navigation sequence is: Settings –> About Phone –> Status (or Network) On this screen, view Signal Strength (or Network Type and Strength).

Select the Start button, then type settings. Select Settings > Network & internet. The status of your network connection will appear at the top. Windows 10 lets you quickly check your network connection status.

There are various reasons that may cause “Mobile Network Not Available” issue, such as signal issues, SIM card issues, network outages, software and hardware problems, roaming restrictions, etc.

To track the amount of data you're using, just download the Three app. The usage tab shows your data allowance and how much you've used. You can also check how much data you've used by logging in to your My3 account.

Which network does Three use? Three is its own mobile network. It doesn't piggyback on other network.

Pressing *3370# activated the Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR). EFR mode improved sound quality at the expense of shorter battery life, which is the exact opposite of the claim. If the goal is to improve battery life, then you would want to enable Half Rate Codec by pressing the *#4720# keys.

Dial *3001#12345#* and press the Call button. This will launch the Field Test Mode app and where the bars/dots were in the top left corner of the screen, you'll now see a negative number. The negative number is the decibel signal strength reading and should be followed by the carrier name and then the network type.

The best way to find out which mobile network provider has the best signal in a particular area is to ask people who live in the area, or to check online reviews. Online tools like OpenSignal, RootMetrics, and Sensorly can also be used to check the signal strength of various mobile networks in a particular area.

A: To fix the “Mobile Network Not Available” issue, you can try restarting your phone, checking Airplane mode settings, reinserting your SIM card, updating your phone's software, checking network coverage, resetting network settings, or contacting your mobile service provider for assistance.

Restart your modem, router, and device

Restarting your modem and router should be the first thing you do when encountering an internet signal issue. Don't skip this step! This is almost always what tech support will ask you to try first, as it often solves the problem.

Problems getting 4G

If you're still not connected: Check 4G (or LTE) is enabled in your device's settings. Update your software. If you didn't get your phone from us, check your settings to see if 4G or LTE can be enabled.
