From apples to pears, from pies to cobblers, here's a collection of the best fall dessert recipes you willever need to help you and your family/party guests stay warm and toasty!

The Pacific Northwest currently is in the middle of what is supposed to be the biggest storm it has seen in a long time. Three separate storms are apparently all going head to head near our coast, and we're seeing the brunt of their meeting.

Outside, the wind is whipping, raindrops are slamming against windows, and, well, it's darn chilly out there. It's SO cold, people! I know, it's like 55 degrees, but with the wind and the rain, it feels much colder!

But inside... inside I intend to fill it with the warmth of our oven and fill the air with scents of fall yumminess. And, since today is National Dessert Day, I thought it would be especially fun to share some delicious fall dessert recipes from some of my favorite fellow food bloggers!

Pear Cobbler with Almond Whipped Cream

The crispness of pears softened in a beautifully baked cobbler. Marisa Guerrero of Margaritas in the Rain shares this sweet recipe for pear cobbler with almond whipped cream. This would be such a sweet dish to share at my next mom's brunch, or any of our family weekend brunches enjoyed leisurely over copious cups of coffee (me) and milk (the kiddos).

What a great roundup of treats. For me since I'm traveling right now, I think I'll celebrate by burning a dessert scented candle today since I'm unable to scent my home making one of these treats!
